South Africa

In December 2013, we opened a music school in Francon, South Africa. With the introduction of Elder Sangjae Moon, it is the beginning of the ministry through Missionary Seongjun Moon.

It was held in the form of renting a building from Franchise Elementary School and giving classes after school.

For about 100 children attending school, he taught various instruments ranging from violin, cello, flute, and flute to both theory and practical lessons, while preaching the gospel at the same time.

After receiving the bags and hats, the children cheer and are eager to learn the instrument. The question of how to teach music lessons with the gospel to children who dream of entering the Juilliard School of Music begins.

Seeing the children's skills and self-esteem and the proud hearts of their parents through several presentations, I expected that the love and consideration of Jesus would take root in the gospel.

Until the music school ministry, which had been going on for many years for the majority of black children and occasionally white children, came to a disappointing end as the government implemented regulatory measures, the Global Mission Center (GMC Korea) made I was able to lay myself down before the Lord without any regrets because I have provided generous support.

I pray that the Lord's influence, who has led us to this point, will remain in the hearts of the children who received free instrument lessons through the South African Conservatory of Music for the rest of their lives.
