MIS2012/3 The Bible and Missions

2 or 3 credits Bible and Missions deals with world missions, discipleship, and the role of missionaries. God has revealed the plan of salvation for mankind, each going his own way. As a part of that, God has established the church as a tool to spread the gospel throughout the world. This course examines the spiritual resources God has given to the church so that the church can fulfill this role. Based on the Bible, the author emphasizes the importance of commitment and responsibility in missions and highlights the role of the church and individuals.
