MIN1052/3 The Work of the Pastor

2 or 3 credits This course deals with what a pastor is called to do and how to prepare. The author reviews the essential elements for successful ministry and the important responsibilities of a pastor, and introduces how to realize and apply biblical principles for various situations that can be experienced in a local church based on 1 and 2 Timothy and Titus. Students will study the principles of what kind of pastor should be established, how to discipline the members, and how to lead worship, as well as the importance of calling for a pastor and living a godly life.
